Holiday Time!

I can't believe how much time has passed since I last updated! The fall flew by and now it is time to get ready for the holidays. We hope that you all had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Maddie proudly told everyone that she was "thankful for her toys!". Then included her mommy, family, house, and movies as she heard what others were thankful for!

Things here are going well. Madison is growing so quickly and is just so much fun! She is talking like crazy and has quite the imagination these days. She is still attending daycare aka "school" and loves to go each day. She has her special friends and just loves to play with the kids and do her arts and crafts.

Maddie is still going to gymnastics which she loves. She is as crazy as ever :) Here she is practicing her "tricks" at home.

She also started to take dance class. It is just an informal class at the YMCA. She has been enjoyig that as well.

This fall we went apple picking with cousins, which was fun.

Then came pumpkin picking, which she enjoyed, but wasn't too sure of the hayride.

Madison was a ladybug for Halloween and was a cute one if I may say so! She really enjoyed trick-or-treating and figured it out quite quickly. She had a few Halloween parties as well.

Thanksgiving came quickly, which was fun as well. Yummy turkey dinner, playing with cousins, making Christmas countdown chains, and the annual Galla Christmas lights, with fireworks and all!

Can't forget Christmas Pictures that were taken this week as well. They came out gorgeous and there will be more to follow.

Today we braved the sleet and rain to get our Christmas tree. There just isn't another time to go with all the things that are going on each weekend.

Vacation!!!

Well we are back from our long awaited trip to Disney World and had a blast!!! Madison was a dream on the airplane and the whole trip, which made things so much easier! On Saturday the 9th we got up very early and headed to the airport. We arrived early afternoon and checked out our hotel and then we headed into Magic Kingdom that evening. Maddie met Pluto right inside the gate and was very excited! We explored Fantasy Land and rode on the tea cups and then rode on the race cars, and then headed to Toon Town. She loved it and made her first stop in a gift shop for a "treat" and then frequently requested "treats" all week long! That night we also were able to watch the Spectromagic parade, which she was fascinated by.

Weeeee!!!!!

The following morning we all got together for breakfast at O'Hana. Here Maddie marched in a parade with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto, had a great breakfast and met the characters. We then headed into Animal Kingdom and Maddie enjoyed a Safari Ride, screaming with joy as we hit every bump! The wilder the better! She spent most of the afternoon snoozing in her stroller and we then headed back for some swimming in the pool and that night we went to a dinner show, which she was so good for!

On Monday we went to Epcot Maddie met and took pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Chip and Dale. She loved it and kept jumping up and down and smiling! While at Epcot we also went on the Nemo ride and she loved it- she cried when she had to get off! She kept asking to ride in the clam! The best part of her day however was a squirting splash pad. She loved this and was soaked by the time she was done! That night we went to the countries in Epcot and Maddie was content to just relax in her stroller and enjoyed a boat ride in mexico and the light show.

On Tuesday we got to the Magic Kingdom bright and early and didn't have any lines. So Maddie went on many rides in Fantasy Land. Her favorites were Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Its a Small World, the Carousel, and Peter Pan. She cried when she had to get off each ride!! We took a break in the afternoon to cool down and then headed back out. Tueday Night we had another character meal with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip n Dale. It was fun! After dinner we did some more rides which she loved of course!

On Wednesday we went to Hollywood Studios. We started our morning with a Playhouse Disney Breakfast. Maddie got to meet the characters from JoJo's Circus and Little Einsteins. Not too into Little Einsteins but loves JoJo. She was chosen by JoJo to go up and dance with the characters and she didn't even look back! After breakfast we headed to the Playhouse Disney Live Show, and while waiting and line and practicing some gymnastics moves, Madison ended up with an egg on her head :( She loved the show though- it was like she couldn't believe her eyes. She saw Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. We then headed to see Beauty and the Beast, where Maddie proceded to fall asleep! Wednesday night we headed to Downtown Disney where we did a little shopping, Maddie got a tattoo, and we went to a dance party. Maddie cried and screamed when the DJ was done- apparantly, she was still ready to party. She then played in some more squiring fountains and was happy and wet!

Thursday turned out to be a rainy day. So, we went to ToonTown and met the princesses! Boy oh Boy was she excited. This was so real for her, as they can talk unlike the other characters. She shared her name, her age, and showed them all her tattoo! Thursday night was Magical for Maddie. We went to a Cinderella dinner and she dressed up like Cinderella and boy was she the cutest princess ever. She was beautiful!!!!

On Friday we went back to the Magic Kingdom, where we did Maddie's favorite rides AGAIN, and met Ariel in her Grotto. Maddie had a blast! She also got to meet Princess Jasmine and Aladdin. That night we had dinner with everyone at Chef Mickeys where Maddie finally met Donald Duck. We then all relaxed outside for a farewell drink and went for a farewell swim and dip in the hot tub. Saturday we had breakfast our silly hotel restaurant and then did some more shopping (Yes, Maddie cost me a lot of souvenirs!!!), went to the arcade, ate again, and then headed to the airport. Our trip had come to an end. :( Maddie was not ready to leave. She cried for the hotel and even today she asked to go back to vacation and to go to Mickey's house again!

Summer is Here....

Well, Summer is finally here! Sorry it has been a long time yet again. We will try to work on that! Things here are going great. Mommy has been off the past 2 weeks so we have been doing lots of fun things- from swimming, to the playground, Lake Compounce, fun with friends and cousins etc... I am having a blast!!!

My big news is that I am almost completely potty trained!! I am now wearing big girl undies and am doing great!!! Mommy is so proud of me. I am growing up so fast!! I still love to sing and I sing so many songs. Lately I have been singing a few of the Backyardigans songs after seeing the Backyardigans Live show! I am one busy little girl I tell you! I am learning all about the Disney characters and everyone is looking forward to our trip. Although it will be hot, it will be a great time!

It's been a while....

So, here we are, it's been a while since Mommy updated my blog. Things have been busy here. I am doing well, enjoying being 2 years old! I have become more of a social butterfly these days and just love to perform for people. I am such a happy little girl, and love to sing. Mommy included a video so that you can hear me. These are my 2 masterpieces right now, but I'm working on some others as well....

Lets see, what else? I got my birthday portraits done. Mommy will share some of them, I am sure. I am turning into quite the little girl, rather than baby these days. I talk non-stop, and I speak very well. I use 5 word utterances, and can carry on a full conversation. Some of the things I say really make people laugh! These days I just love to be outside and I love my swing. I have so many toys outside, it's like my own playground. Speaking of which, I love to go to the playground and go down the big slide! I am playing more and more with my toys as my imagination kicks in. I also love shoes already! UH-OH, mommy is in trouble. I love seeing my friends and my cousins too. As for things I do not like: I hate to be told no or that I cannot do something- I crumble instantly of a broken heart. Yes, I am a very sensitive little girl. I also do not like to share much these days, oh the joys of being 2. I'm not crazy about the bath, and still don't like to eat much, but if those are my only dislikes, I guess Mommy can't complain too much!

Here are some pictures:

Happy Birthday!

Well I am officially 2 years old! Yesterday was a great day- so much fun! I had a blast at both of my parties. I enjoyed being the center of attention, being at the gym, and having all of my friends and cousins around me all day long! Tonight we will have cake and sing AGAIN- not that I mind :) I also received so many wonderful gifts- thanks everyone! I am a very lucky little girl to have such wonderful friends and family...

Here's a few pictures from my special day.

Almost 2!

I am almost 2 years old- can you believe it?!! Less than a week to go. My kids party is this Sunday at gymnastics, and then my family party afterwards at home. It will so much fun! I am really enjoying playing with my friends and cousins these days, so I will be in "heaven" to be with them all day long!

Sorry it's been so long since Mommy and I have updated. Things have been very busy lately, but everything is good! I am being very "2" and everything is mine! If I even looked at it or thought about it- it's mine! Including things, like windows in the house (Uncle Kev got in trouble for looking out MY window) and people (someone touched my boyfriend Lima (Liam)- big mistake- he is MINE!!!) Oh, the joys of toddlerhood- for mommy anyways!

Other than being fresh, I am doing well. I never stop talking these days, but nobody complains! My new favorite books are "Panda Bear Panda Bear" and "Baby Bear, Baby Bear" and I know most of the animals in them now- including animals like "blue heron, whooping crane, flying squirrel, screetch owl etc...) Mommy, Mimi, and Papa get such a kick out of it. Everyday I learn more and more words and am speaking in little sentences. Mommy keeps wondering where her baby is. The other day I told her my name is "Madison Baby" and one time I was "Miss Madison". Always making people smile, that is for sure!

Hope that everyone had a great Easter. I wasn't overly thrilled with the Easter Bunny, but I did enjoy Easter eggs and baskets. So, overall a fun day! Here are some pictures to enjoy.
